The Coffee Harvest
Where The Quality Begins

The true coffee experience begins at harvest. In each harvest, our beans are carefully selected at the perfect point of maturity, ensuring an unmistakable flavor and quality that only REGO Cafés Especiais offers.

The entire coffee production process is carried out responsibly, without the use of slave labor or irregular practices. The work is done with dignity and respect for labor laws.

Coffee Rego – Direct From
South Of Minas

The southern regions of Minas Gerais have soils of volcanic origin, rich in minerals that favor coffee cultivation.

Combined with the altitude and mild climate, these factors create perfect conditions for producing high-quality grains.

Our coffee from the South of Minas is known for its striking flavor, balanced acidity and intense aroma. The cherries are hand-picked, ensuring a refined drink with fruity notes and natural sweetness.

Selecting the beans is an essential step to ensure the quality of the coffee. During the harvest and post-harvest, only ripe beans, free from defects and imperfections, are chosen. This process avoids bitter or undesirable flavors in the cup and enhances the natural flavor of the coffee.

Types of grains:

1. Arabica:

It is the most common type in the region and represents the majority of national production. It has a milder flavor, fruity notes, balanced acidity and a striking aroma — ideal for specialty coffees.

2. Arabica varieties:

Within the Arabica type, there are several cultivated varieties, such as:

Bourbon – Intense sweetness and velvety body

Catuaí – Balance between acidity and sweetness

Mundo Novo – Fuller body and strong flavor

Acaiá – Larger grains, with good sweetness and floral aroma
